You are the Director Research and Development for one of two companies: Cisco and Juniper Networks. Suppose that Cisco and Juniper Networks are the main suppliers of Internet Protocol routers (networking equipment). You must decide whether to recommend increasing your company’s R&D expenditures for the coming year or keeping them the same as this year.
